Accessibility

We offer full accessibility on our ground floor, which also features a spacious accessible toilet for our guests’ convenience. Unfortunately, our Tusk Club, restaurant and roof garden are only accessible via stairs.

Yes, our ground floor is accessible for mobility scooters.
Food & Drink

We serve food from 12.00 pm until 9.30 pm Monday – Thursday, 12pm until 10.00 pm Friday – Saturday, and 12.00 pm until 8.00 pm on Sunday.

We can accommodate all major dietary requirements. If it is not clear on the menus which dishes are suitable for your requirements, do not hesitate to ask our team, who will clarify.

I’m afraid our meat is not halal, but we offer a variety of seafood and vegetarian dishes that our guests enjoy.

We offer a variety of drinks and food packages that cater to every style of event, from formal meals to casual drinks and finger food. We update our menus and fabulous event packages seasonally, so if your event is later in the year, please use these as a reference only for the time being.
General FAQ

We do not have on site parking, however our closest parking facilities are The Lanes Carpark (Black Lion Street, Brighton, BN1 1ND) located a 3-minute walk from The Walrus.
We are a 15-minute stroll from Brighton train station, and easily accessible by bus. Our closest bus stops are North Street and only a 5-minute walk to our entrance.

We always recommend booking at busy times, to avoid disappointment, but we are very happy to accept walk-ins.

We do not allow the use of electronic cigarettes or vapes inside the pub; however you are more than welcome to use them on our roof garden.

Our dress code is smart casual. We do not allow fancy dress without prior permission.

We love when four-legged friends come to visit, and we are dog-friendly in all areas apart from our restaurant. We politely ask that dogs remain on a lead when in the pub.

Absolutely, under-18s are welcome in the pub up until the kitchen closes.

We do not charge entry to the pub, however some events hosted in the pub may be ticketed. If you have any queries, please give us a ring on 01273 025 749.

If you are ordering alcohol, we operate Challenge 25. If you are lucky enough to look 25 or under, please be prepared to show your ID to our team.
