Brighton Fringe: Going Coastal with Donald McGinty

May 10 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

TV Star Donald McGinty is live on stage for the first time to share his love of the great outdoors. With anecdotes, activities and adventure, he is ready to share how he overcame his own fear of the sea after it had claimed his grandfather and several guests on his TV show Going Coastal.

With updates on this year’s Seagull Appeal and the final of the 2024 Calendar Competition, it’ll be just like watching the seventeenth highest rated outdoor magazine format show in the 1-2am slot on the nations second favourite broadcaster but in a room above a pub instead of the comfort of your own home.

In approximately 56 minutes, Donald will share his years of broadcasting experience, his unique take on environmental concerns, and help you overcome your own fear of drowning in the crushing depths of the dark, unforgiving ocean… Get ready to set sail and answer the call of the wild. But remember, as the old McGinty family saying goes, “whin adventure beckons, be daein’ yer business afore ye leave th’ hoose.”
